CREATION REQUIREMENTS

The three colors - black, white and gray, often give people a cold and disillusioned feeling! Have you ever thought about how to use these neutral colors to send a positive message in your design work and keep the audience motivated?

The competition aims to enable students to recognise their own strengths, break through subjective limitations and find their own colour of life. Through this competition, the organisers hope that during the creation process students can explore their potential and think about how to break through the limitations of "black, white and grey" to create a graphic design that conveys positive energy.

Using only black, white and different grades of grey as the main colours in their entries, students have to break away from conventional sensory norms of colour and give them a different life of colour.

COMPETITION RULES

1. Participants must include a title for all submissions, and a description in English (by text, audio, or multi-media) to explain the idea and meaning of their work. The description has no word limit, but we recommend that you keep it brief, preferably within 300 words.
2. Chinese, Western or a combination of Chinese and Western painting styles will be accepted, and you are free to choose your painting tools and media.
3. Artwork must not be larger than A3 420mm*297mm
